I currently take 300 mg. Wellburin XL each morning and then 150 XL mg in the afternoon. I picked up my meds (150 mg) yesterday and when I got home I realized they gave me SR instead of XL. My question is do you think it's okay to mix 300 mg XL and then 150 mg SR during the day? It's the holiday weekend, so I can't call my doctor till next week, so I was wondering if anyone would know if this is okay to mix.

welcome Swells,

Can you call the pharmasy and tell them they messed up and return them for the right ones...I think that would be your best bet.

There is a difference - I think the XL is a slow release meds. Your pharmacy has to exchange it for you, no questions asked. They should have the prescription for XL, and would know that they gave you the wrong meds.

Hope you sort it out quickly!
