My mom is taking effexor xr 70mg. She noticed while she was standing on the ground and looking up to trim a branch on the rose bush that she was loosing her balance. Could this be caused by the Effexor?

Thanks for your replies.

It could be from the effexor, but it also could be from allergies effecting the inner ear. She should o to a doc and have them check everything out, just to be sure

Yes. I experienced this all the time while on Effexor XR 75mg. Please tell her to be especially careful in the shower if she bends down for any reason, your balance seems to be way off. It does seem to get better, but it is always there. I am a dancer, and there was NO way I could do some of the things I did prior to Effexor.
