Hello,

I just started on Remeron 4 days ago @ 15mg nightly. The first two days all I could do is sleep and now for the last two days I have got the worst sleep I've had in a long time! It's making me wake up every couple hours and when I DO finally get up after 8 or so hours I feel like s*** and look it too. Even my co-worker commented that I didn't look like I was well rested last night! I'm wondering if this is a bad sign as Remeron is usually prescribed to HELP sleep not hinder it.

thanks.

Hi Compman

Not really sure what to say here. If you read back a ways through this forum you will see that most people find that 15mg is a dose that will make them very dopey and discover a new relationship with their sofa. Your symptoms do sound aytypical but as with all meds on this forum, you need to give it time. If in two weeks say things are still not straight, go back to the doc and let him know whats going on. He may suggest an alternative. Sorry I cant be more help.

HI Compman,

I'm not on Remeron but if I take my ad at night it causes insomnia so I take it in the morning. You could try that? xx
