The DepressionForums membership has grown tremendously in the past 6 months, and that means we do need help from more volunteer moderators.

How many of us have found that by sharing and helping other members in need, we get encouragement ourselves?

Your request for a moderator application does not mean that we will be placing you in this position. There are many factors that are considered when we choose a moderator. For example, we will be looking for members who have been active regularly and have shown they are helpful to other members.

Of course, who we chose as a moderator will depend on what our needs are at a specific time.

We DO appreciate all offers to help, whether or not we choose to continue with your moderator application currently.
If you are interested and you would be able to give back to DF a few hours or more each week, send a PM to Forum Admin for details. Remember that all of our staff is volunteer and has family, work and our own illness to deal with. Please be patient; we will try to respond to your request for information asap.
