Hey, I suffer from migraines PDOC knows this, I went to the Neuro last week he knows I am on Zoloft but he wants me to try Triptans(sp) like Zomig, Treximet..........yet I am affraid to try any of them because they all interact in not so great ways. What are good medications to use for Migrains while on Zoloft. I know Zoloft can aggravate headaches, but its allready a DX condition with me. I take Atenolol to help out with that.

Is Asprin okay? is know NSAID's are not? Do you all think its worth asking the PDOC his thoughts on what to take? Triptans I am reading about seritonian syndrome and Nueroleptic syndrome

Hi Johnprimo,

I definitely think it's a good idea to ask your pdoc or if you need an answer quicker I would go and see a pharmacist as they understand about drug interactions better than anyone. I'm not sure about the effect zoloft has on other meds so I can't help I'm afraid, but never be worried to bring stuff up with your doc.

xx

The last time I had meds done I had the pharm call and tell me if I was still taking the "Z" that I couldn't take the new med. Talk to the person who fills the script......
