I would love to live on a farm, Kind of like going back to the good ole days.
Small towns are good too as many people are able to watch out for each other

Nurturing
As we plant the seeds for a flower bed, we must nurture those seeds by watering and weeding so that the flowers may become beautiful and strong. Without the nurturing they may whither away.
As we plant the seeds for our gardens to grow our foods, we must nurture those seeds with watering and weeding so that the garden may give plenty of the food we need. Without the nurturing we may go hungry.

As humans we have seeds planted within our hearts, souls and minds, those seeds must also be nurtured with tender love and care so that we may feel, see and think better. Like weeding the flowers and gardens we must also weed out the bad thoughts and feelings that we suffer with any type of illnesses. Give yourself some nurturing and let others support that nurturing in weeding out the bad seeds and replacing them with seeds of love and peace of mind, we all have right and the ability to see that the world is a beautiful sight just as the beauty within ourselves. By nurturing, we won't go hungry and whither away with our illnesses.

I Currently Live in Atlanta, Georgia.

I have lived here going on three years. I love the weather. I also love the prices. I am paying less for a four bedroom home on half an acre than most New Yorkers pay for a studio apartment in Long Island. I love the access I have to fresh food, right from the grower.

I am from Pittsburgh and miss a lot of the culture that it had. It is a beautiful city.

I live in the Rocky Mountains in Utah. There is a small community living within a 12 mile canyon and I am proud to say my bed faces a large window that loks out into one of the most beautiful scenes on earth. Tall green mountains with wild life, fresh air each morning and pure mountain water no need for bottled water here.

Australia, Northern Territory. (I still don't understand why Australia has boring names like "Northern Territory", "Western Australia" and "Australian Capital Territory", I mean, it's very unimaginative)

I really love the weather, living in the tropics. I love the humidity and the heat. I love the seasons, wet season, in which it buckets down, and the dry season where, you guessed it, it doesn't rain. I have no idea when the traditional 4 seasons are :P

I like how it doesn't take long to get anywhere. I like how close the bush is, and how there is smatterings of bushland here and there in the suburbs, and all the wildlife that seems to coexist with us here. I love the vibrant colours of the Top End. I really love the thunder storms and rain. I love where I live, I love the tropics, and I love the bush. :)

Central Missouri. I love it here. Civilized but relaxed. Beautiful in a modest way. And affordable.

I live in Tulsa, Oklahoma, have lived her all my life....we did move to Houston, Texas for 12 years and I loved the restaurants and malls and housing was very inexpensive...but I hated the expressways, and the rude drivers....glad we moved back to Oklahoma....we live in a 4 bedroom, 2 living areas, kitchen, dining room, office, and a workout room. We also have 2 1/2 acres.

Hi Jillian and Welcome to DF,

Wow, sounds like a place that I would want to live. I would love to live on a big farm with horses with a lot of acres out away from the cities. Somewhere peaceful to where we could let the animals run and enjoy the sights.

Hi and Welcome to DF Aesir

Its good to have another fellow South African here. I am from Johannesburg, but I live in Midrand, for anyone that is reading, it is half way between Johannesburg and Pretoria.
I find if I stay pretty street wise, it is ok. I love it here.

They both sound like beautiful and peaceful places to live

--------------------

I live in Ontario, Canada.
All 4 seasons but winter is the longest (unfortunately).
Nothing to say, kind of boring I guess.

I live in Victoria, British Columbia, but I grew up in Northeastern Ontario. I miss the cold, snowy winters there, but that's about it!

I live in Lynchburg,VA. I moved here in April to be closer to my boyfriend, who I met online. I'm originally from Phoenix.
He's what I love best about being here. I also love the weather and the landscape, very green and colorful. Not at all like Phoenix. :D

I just love to here where everybody lives and what it's like where they live, it's kind of like living there in a moment when I see all the different places where people live and I can picture their environments.

I live in San Francisco, California.
Been here my entire life. Part of why I feel depressed is probably because I'm still stuck here. I really belong elsewhere. I'm thinking NYC. One day I will move there !!

I live in Australia along the mid-north coast NSW. I love the beaches but don't like it when they are busy. I prefer the little beaches that hardly anyone knows about - they are great for thinking time. smile.gif

Hi uncensored,

Sometimes when we are stuck in the same place for so long it can be depressing. I hope the day will come to where you can move to NYC

Oh yes, the price of living in Atlanta is glorious, especially for a big city.

I'm currently going to school in Atlanta, GA. I really like it here; go to the right neighborhood and you will be bombarded with culture and liveliness. I hate the fact that I don't have a car since it hinders me from getting around and seeing more of the city, but all in all I'm satisfied. : )

Hi.
I live in the eastern part of the Canadian province of Saskatchewan.

I enjoy the fact that it's a quiet rural area. Free from the noise pollution and stresses of an urban environment.

I enjoy the closeness to nature that comes from living in a rural area. I like the scenary. I enjoy the opportunity to see wildlife such as deer, rabbits, coyotes, foxes, hawks, owls etc on a daily basis.
I live in an area that's along one of North America's largest migritory bird flyways, and the massive numbers of migrating waterfowl, that pass through the area in spring and fall, is amazing to observe.

I like the ready availability of outdoor passtimes such as fishing, boating, ATVing, snowmobiling, etc.

I enjoy the clear, unobstructed view of the sky. Clear starry nighttime skies, free from much of the light pollution of urban areas. The breathtaking view of storm clouds moving across a distant horizon.
I think this area has some of the most breath-taking sunrises and sunsets anywhere in the world.

I'm also fortunate enough, in my opinion to be enjoying the freedom and security that this country provides. Freedom and security which we often take forgranted, and forget that much of the world cannot enjoy the same freedoms.

It isn't always perfect.
But, usually I feel quite fortunate to live here.
