For those who have experienced the 'honeymoon' period with bupropion, how long did it last? I started two and a half weeks ago on XL (Global generic), 150 mg the first four days and then 300 mg for the past two weeks. It felt amazing, back to normal for the first time in years, for about the past week or so. Then yesterday the numb, apathetic feeling that I associate with my depression came back all of a sudden and it made pretty anxious that that's all I'll be getting out of it. Just wondering if anyone's had the honeymoon last for as long as the first two weeks (it would be encouraging to know, since that means hopefully the effect will be back in another couple of weeks...)

The other thing I haven't been able to find out about is whether dosage effectiveness is affected by body mass (as is the case for most medications). I'm a pretty big guy (6'6, 190 lbs), does that mean I'm more likely to need a higher dose (and is the increase in risk of seizure from a higher dose also lessened somewhat by my weight)? I'll be asking my pdoc about this, but it's another three weeks until I see him, so if anyone's got any good references on this, feel free to point me in their direction.
