Hi All,
I have been on E - XR 375mg for several months. It is helping the depression but for the last month or so I have noticed a side effect that is new for me. when I sit or am in bed and get real relaxed I get random single twitches or jerks. my arm or leg acts like I just got a small electric shock and will jump or jerk an inch or two.
I asked the Doc if she heard of this and she has not. It is not bad or anything just strange.
Anyone eles experiencing this?

Hi Noisey Brain and others. The twitch or jerk on Eff is fairly common, at least amoung people who post on the web or write non-scientific reports on the web. For some folks (including me) it happens even in sleep; I'll wake myself up some nights from the jump. I'm tapering down off the Effexor at this point, so I'll keep track of whether and how long the jerks continue to happen.
