as you can see in my signature, i take a lot of meds.
sometimes, i still get mood fluxuations. right now i'm a bit down, but last night was a bit up. my moods are playing around again, despite a recent 10mg increase in Abilify. i went from 20 to 30.

my question is: am i being too picky about what my meds should be doing and can do for me? should i expect a little bit of movement here and there, and not a constant line of absolute stability?

my pdoc gives lectures all over the world about BP and its treatment. i trust him to give me the absolute best care. but what should i expect? i'm going to ask him when i see him in a couple of days, but i wanted to hear your thoughts on it.

I still have bad days even with the meds. One thing I have noticed though is that the down days aren't quite as bad. Instead of an endless pit of despair I only fall into a small black hole that I can crawl out of.

I currently take 5 meds for BP I. I'm fairly stable With mild mood swings up and down, although not as bad as before meds. I can deal with it.

Your pdoc sounds great and has the knowledge to treat BP. Talk to him about the mood swings you're experiencing and how the increased dose of Abilify is doing.
