Hi everyone, how are you all doing ?

Sorry i haven't been around, i didn't realise i hadn't checked in for a while. Life has sort of taken over recently, my kids were ill and i honestly do not know where the last couple of weeks have gone !
My mind is a little everywhere at the mo, my concentration is shot too. I can feel myself starting to rev up, so i will have to keep an eye on that.

I have tried to read up on what has been happening here recently, that hasn't worked out so well as i can't remember what was wrote as soon as i move on. mad1.gif I think i'm brain dead, so i will start from now on.

Hi PRT, Thanks for thinking of me. I have posted on the lightbox question, seasonal affective disorder isn't nice is it ? You,d think rapid cycling bipolar was enough, nope i need to be really awkward. wwww.gif

Rosegirl, i'm sorry i haven't caught up with you for a while but i see you are fighting it all the way. You are my hero, hold on in there. flowers.gif

Hey Trace, how are you and what have you benn up to ?

Hi Crystal, how are you doing? How is work and college ?

Must run, dinner to finish but i will check in tomorrow. I've missed you all

Thanks for posting on my thread, I haven't looked yet so I'll run right over!!
The way I'm trying to view it is that having depression at a particular time of year is better than having it all year round as I have this year. So if I can only have it during the winter it'll be a bonus!!

Hope everyone is well xx

I hope your kids are better and that you take care of yourself as well as you can. Life takes over from time to time it seems. Really stressing when the "fast forward" button`s been pressed.. Have felt that myself lately. And the thing with having problems is that they never come one and one, it`s either tons or nothing.

College is going fine, thank you. It`s been very stressful, I`ve had a lot of work to do these last couple of weeks, but at the same time I do like to study.. And, I haven`t found a job yet. Sort of met the wall and didn`t get over it. Still working on it though, all pun intended.
Other than that I am doing okay happy.gif

I think I have a bug...
Very very sleepy, achy, no temperature control. Last time I was like this it was depression. Maybe again BUT maybe it is a virus. seeing the pdoc again next tuesday.
Also moving, I am having a debate with my mum about me sleeping in the smaller or larger room. I reckon I can get desk, piggies, craft table and chill out chair in the larger room, and all the stuff for a pure sleeping area plus clothes in the smaller room.
Uni seems to be ok, first wheek I was really motivated. Now I want to do it but the energy and drive is not as much there.

Hi Helen!

Hope you get better soon. I had to go to bed because my muscles aced so much. I don't have the other symptoms, so it can't be the Swineflu! I just have to accept that I have to take it easy for some days. Don't be anxious about Uni. When I was a student it helped to have a special time when I should read. If I had written that the reading-time was from 2 - 4 with a little break, I just sat at the library for the scheduled time, even if I wasn't able to read a line. That helped me to have a system, so I could study when I felt OK enough to get something out of it in the usual study-time. When I felt OK I had to set off some weekends to read more. For me this worked well as long as I told myself that I was clever enough. Don't forget the forgetting-curve. Because of that you have to set apart time in your study-schedule for repetition from time to time. This is especially important since you are depressed. We, depressives, are often forgetful. When the normal forgetting-curve works in us as in all other people, we will selfblame because we think our depression has made us stupid. That's not true, so please remember repetition from time to time.

Best wishes! smile.gif
