I am new. I want to ask a question. i have been taking 60 ml cymbalta since it came out.
a new ph doc increased it to 90 ml and now my ears are driving me crazy. ringing, vibrating--sounds amplified. has anyone experienced this? thanks

Sounds like symptoms of tinnitus(Google it). This will usually either go away or become so "normal" to the point you'll no longer notice it. It's something you should discuss with your doc, though.

fionas32, I also experience ringing in the ears. I hadn't thought about being a side effect of the medication. If it is, so be it (for me) because I've been on nearly every other anti-depressant and this one works for me. I've gotten pretty used to it over time (about a year now).
I agree with Deepster, that you should mention it to your pdoc.

Thanks Iowa. I have mentioned it and will again. I saw an EN&T yesterday who found nothing wrong. He said depression
can cause ringing in ears. I never heard of that. I will see an audiologist next month. If
I learn anything new, I'll let you
know. I am SO glad I found your site.
