Can you donate blood if you are taking anti-depressants? I want to donate blood for my school's fundraiser and I'm wondering if I can, because I'm on Zoloft. Also, will I be required to tell them I'm on medication? Anyone know?

Well I've been donating for over a year (every 56 days) and I'm on Wellbutrin and clonazepam ( and was on zoloft for a while) They told me that it is not a problem to be on these meds, yes you do have to tell them though, the screening process does include a lot of questions but it is well worth it to donate flowers.gif

I dont see the problem with it, I give blood. I would tell them any meds you are on, although they do normally ask!
