hi, if some of the weight gain caused by remeron is just water being held in the body is it safe to take a diruectic.......dont know if i spelt that right??

Hi Mimi,

You were close, diuretic is correct. However, your question is best left to medical professionals. I have a feeling that the majority of the weight gain is caused by the sugar cravings being succumbed to by the client. LOL.... So, watching what one eats (and I don't mean that as simply observing), limiting the amount of carbs one consumes and regular exercise is the best way to prevent the weight gain from becoming a problem.
