I am taking...

150mg of Wellbutrin in the morning
.25 Zoloft in the morning
.25 Klonopin in the morning

.25 Klonopin when day is half over

I loved xanax. It made my mind calm down, no racing thoughts, and I woke up stress free. My doc said that it could be a bad combination so he prescribed Lunesta (which did nothing for nervousness or thoughts and doesnt work) and now Trazodone 200mg.

I took one pill and I still couldnt get to sleep for a couple of hours. Fell asleep...around 3am my air conditioner kicked in (woke me up and I wear ear plugs) and couldnt get back to sleep. Took half a pill around 4am.

Woke up at 10am and could barely DRIVE. I was so dizzy and out of it, off balance, etc.

So Im not sure what to take..If I take 4mg of Lunesta it knocks me out so much that I will sleep, but that nasty taste is gross. And Trazodone is suppose to be a mild antidepressent but It does nothing for anxiety and nervousness.

Any suggestions on a good combo?

There aren't any interactions between Trazadone and Benzodiazepine medications.

I've found that anytime I'm on a med that is an extended release NRI - Wellbutrin, Cymbalta, Effexor -- I got bad insomnia (my wife has the same problem). Which, I guess, makes sense as I believe norpenphrine (sp?) is a form of adrenaline.

One solution would be to ask your doc about SLOW release Wellbutrin. It doesn't last as long as EXTENDED release Wellbutrin and I had no problems with it, as opposed to the EXTENDED release version which really put the kibosh on sleep.

Thanks for your advice. Last night I took 3mg of Lunesta and slept all night. Tried the trazodone another night, woke up all loopy and had a headache. Oh, and its only 50mg, not 200 like I stated.

So what the the WBXL do compared to the twice a day tablet? I take XL. So the XL is the extened or slow?
Wbs,
Courtney

Wellbutrin XL is the extended release, Wellbutrin SR is the slow or sustained release.

As you said, Wellbutrin SR is intended to be taken twice daily and lasts 12 hours. I took it ONCE daily so it was leaving my system at bed time.

Careful about long-term Lunesta use (more than a few days in succession). I was on it for about a year. Mid-day withdrawal became a SEVERE problem. My doc insisted it had no side-effects and no dependence issues, but it does, possibly as bad as benzos.
