I started taking celexa 3 days ago. I am taking 40mg per day and I am itching like crazy and Im manic and cannot sleep, but the itching is nearly out of control its driving me crazy lol! Im 19 and have been prescribed celexa for depression, Im not taking any other medicine.

Sorry you hadn't rec'd a reply sooner, but I'll throw in my 2 cents.........

I can't say I've experienced anything extreme in itchiness, but I'm already an itchy person. Might wanna contact your doc about it if it hasn't gone away since you posted this. May pass after more time, but if it's driving you crazy, maybe your doc can help you w/ adjusting your dosage and/or supplementing w/ something else.
