Well here we are i was on citalopram 5 mg and began having chest pain and burning feeling. doctor changed me to generic effexor and i took the first dose today. i have mild to moderate ocd and anxiety no depression. hope this works. I am afraid to have allergic reaction to this med or any med for that matter lol.
i already have ibs, eshopageal spasm, and gastritis which the gastro doc thinks is stress related.. we will see.

thanks

Effexor worked quite well for me for 4 years, with little side effects, hopefully you will have the same results.

Hi,

Well its early days with your new medication. It would normally take antime from 3-6 weeks plus to start feeling a positive change that you will notice.

If you have any concerns always talk to your Doctor as he is a professional. So just give it enough time.
