I am new here, I have been taking Cymbalta for 2 years and lately have been feeling like I am falling into the pit again so my doctor added WB to the mix. I am starting on 150 for a week then will move to 300. I started feeling better soon after I took the first dose, had so much more energy, the sadness was controllable--I pray this reaction to the WB continues.
Another interesting s/e of WB, when I am depressed or agitated I self medicate with alcohol...and since I started the WB the cravings for alcohol have totally subsided! I am so happy about that. I feel like I am in control, not my depression.
Thanks for letting me share.
Seems we have a lot in common! I asked to be put on Welbutrin after seeing my son-in law become smoke-free in a few weeks! I have been on Prozac for about 10 years, and it worked on my depression, but it made me unable to real a climax in any way!

So, after some research, I found out that this drug can help that problem as well.. So, I have been on it for about 2 weeks now. I am in total shock and amazement with this drug. I used to drink a few beers almost every afternoon, living here in sunny Florida, smoking and drinking on my free time.. Within ONE week of being on 300mg ( 150 two times a day), I am smoking maybe 2 cigs a day, sometimes three. And, in the past two weeks,. I had NO craving for alcohol at all... I am finding it very strange that this has happened...I am like a totally different person! I do have side effects of feeling nervous and jittery, so i do take alprazolam with my afternoon dose, and also to sleep. And Trying, let me tell you about the DREAMING! Talking out loud all night ( my poor husband)..waking up all hours..
But after reading that this is a very common occurrence, I feel very optimistic that this drug will be the one for me.
I hope it works for you too!
