I am a 29 yo female. I have been on and off Lexapro several times in the last 5 years.

I usually stop taking it because of the sexual side effects. My husband and I have a very active sex life, until I get on Lexapro. Then it totally kills any interest and desire I have in sex. When we do have sex, I am completely incapable of achieving orgasm, which leads to extreme frustration on my part, and guilt on my husband's part that he can and I can't.

Well, it's the fall again, and my depression is back worse than ever, so I got back on the Lexapro 5 days ago. Feeling better already, mentally. Feeling horrible sexually.

I went to the doctor today (what is pdoc, by the way?), and we are going to try 150 mg on Wellbutrin SR in addition to the Lexapro. I am currently on 10 mg of Lexapro, but will be stepping it up to 20 mg within the next week.

Has anyone had any success with this combo of meds?

Does anyone have any other suggestions for combatting the sexual side effects of Lexapro?

im a guy and I could tell the difference, I imagine its really hard for women. I was on lexapro before, just started celexa and am having issues. I take the wellbutrin 150 sr as well. Hopefully it gets better.
