Hi All. I was on 50mg of Zoloft for about 3 weeks and my doc and I agreed to go to 100mg. Only very mild drowsiness with 50mg, but with 100, I can barely wake up in the morning. Any experiences you can share about how long the drowsiness might last? I did not have this particular issue with Cymbalta or Celexa. Thanks!

I was so tired when I went to 100. I took "power naps" for a couple of weeks. It does pass. What time of day do you take it? Someimes that can help.

Thanks for the input. I have always taken my AD's at night, with the hopes that any bad s/e's will occur mainly during sleeping hours. When do you take yours and what do you think the advantages/disadvantages are?

Thanks again,

When I first went onto 50mg of Sertraline I had drowsy spells for the first 2 or 3 weeks. I still get them if I miss or change dosages. Usually for me it's not too bad and passes after a few days.

Hi Celephias. Do you take your meds at night or morning or during the day? I am thinking of experimenting with which time of day works best for me. Thanks for the input, by the way.
