Hey Stitch! Like you said no one here can diagnose you, and I wouldn't say pdoc's are likely to miss important things about you! A few might, most are good - you'll see how you feel with the person after an appointment or two. If they seem to take their time with you, let you talk and listen, and encourage you to call or meet within 2 weeks to follow up on any drugs they may prescribe, you are in good hands in my opinion.
I have to say my experiences have been good with ALL of the ones I've seen. Even the one I didn't like was insightful and good at her job. So good job getting that appointment! That's a lot of stuff you've been struggling with alone.
Just tell them all the things you told us here. Make a list and give to them if you're afraid of leaving something out. I really don't think they'll miss a major problem like OCD, Tourette's, ADHD etc if you have it.
Where is that list from, did you do one of those online tests? They are so ridiculous - really, they are, please don't drive yourself crazy with them. No doctor would take them seriously. I had an obsession for little while that I had Narcissistic Personality Disorder and kept taking those tests, trying to prove and then disprove it to myself and well, depending on the test and my mood I would come out with similar scores to yours... Please don't get hung up on them! I can't diagnose you but I can guarantee you that you do NOT have the scores on that list in reality...
I would think if anything they reflect that you're in a bad mood and feeling really low right now!
But, eh, since I got diagnosed with ADHD I can never seem to resist doing an amateur diagnosis of ADHD when I get a chance to - so here goes: sounds like you might have some degree of ADHD?
I find that it often goes along with other learning disorders, disorders in the autism spectrum like Aspbergers' (which I'm sure I have some degree of), OCD (I have some tendencies, but never fullblown) and Tourette's. It can definitely result in dyssemia (yup, that was me as a kid! and occasionally as an adult), and a lof of people with it are very fidgety, especially if we are forced to sit still and do boring tasks!
Just a thought, something to maybe read up on (Delivered From Distraction is a great book, AND it's written in mini-chapters with sum ups for people who can't focus on reading entire books... got to love that), if what you read strikes a deep chord you probably have it, otherwise it's still a wonderful book.
Keep us posted on how the appointments go. I'm routing for you that you feel comfortable and well cared for by the psychiatrist!
