I took my first 37.5 pill last evening after dinner, but I am so used to taking pills in the morning, I am worried I will forget and get w/d some times. I was wondering when you all take yours? Is it always with/after food? Please chime in, it will help me. Thanks All!!! -Kimbo

I take my 150mgXR in the morning. Some days I am more tired than others, so I'm thinking of possibly moving it to evenings, in case it is causing the tiredness. But going to get my thyroid and iron checked out first.

I'm sure I should be able to answer this for myself, but somehow I can't figure it out.
If I suspect my Efexor XR is making me sleepy, would it actually make any difference what time I take it, since it is, in any case an Extended Release formulation, so presumably releases in stages over 24 hours?
Would anyone know?

Surfergirl,

You're lucky....

Some people (me included in the past) have problems if they miss the normal time by more than a few hours...

I just started taking it today - but after reading everything - I decided to take it in the morning. I like my sleep and would prefer nothing disturbed my sleep.

I'll see how it goes - but I imagine that it's the best time for me. (I'm always awake in the morning and evenings are often busy or unpredictable...)
