I always have taken my Celexa in the morning, and this morning was the first time I forgot to take it. Should I take it as soon as I get home at 8, and then start taking it in the mornings again at around 10? Are those doses going to be too close to each other? I just need some clarification, because I was really frustrated on the way to work knowing I forgot to take the Celexa. I don't know how I forgot... I guess i've just been feeling a lot better lately.

Hi zamardii,

Are you able to pop back home and take it? If not, then I would put a call into your doctor and get his advice.

Personally, I don't always take my AD at exactly the same time each morning (I take Zoloft, not Celexa). Sometimes there can be as much as a couple of hours difference from one day to the next (though generally I try and take it at the same time). But if I miss it for an entire day, then I have tended to wait until the next morning before taking it again.

That's just me though. Again, I would really recommend you ask your doctor about this if you aren't able to pop back home to take your AD this morning.

It's great you are feeling a lot better! smile.gif

Take care.

Joanna

You'll be fine, just take it when you get home, and tomorrow, take it maybe at dinner time, try to bring your bottle at work. Then the day after, lunch time, and then back to mornings...That's what I would do when it happened to me. But I don't think you'll feel any difference, don't worry about it.

I think what i'm going to do, is next time I get my refill is leave some at work in another bottle. Maybe 3 or 5 just in case this happens again. To be honest, I would not have freaked out, but i got scared that i'd sink or something again.

This is a great idea and it has really helped me in some situations.I keep about three pills in a container in my purse in case I forget. That way, if I'm out then I have a back up.
