How can someone prove they are NOT bipolar? Is it true and neurologist can tell by something in the brain?

It takes a long time to diagnose Bipolar as it contains symptoms of many mental health disorders. It took a long time for me to be accurately diagnosed.

I've had a few brain MRI's the neurologist requested. She was mostly looking for Tia's (mini strokes) or brain damage that would be affecting my neurological functioning (I have Parkinsonism). I've not heard of MRI's being able to detect Bipolar in the brain. I'm not a professional so don't know if this is accurate information. Consult with you pdoc of this possibility. My BP is genetically acquired.
