I'm new to this and this may have been discussed prior, I am currently battling my own anxiety and panic issues. I have question regarding my 12year old son who has been diagnosed with add. He has tried several meds with varying degress of success and some failures with others. He has recently started to realize that the medications change who he is making him feel very serious. We recently lowered his adderal and his school work is starting to suffer a bit but what scares me is if you start to talk to him its like he only hears the first few words then he is off in his own world somewhere, then relieses that he missed what you said and you have to repeat everything several times. I'm worried, I feel his level of distraction from everything around him could become dangerous to him. Please if there is anyone with experiance with alternatives of on how to help him focus on lower meds so that he can feel like himself I am all ears. Thanks.

welcomeani.gif have you browsed through the medication rooms at DF at all ....... you might find some suggestions there. Or speaking with your prescribing Dr as to the various effects patients have reported?
