I would like to know if I Will have Withdrawal side effects from effexor xr 150mg to lexapro 10mg? I can't wean from 75mg cause insurance got cancel so I just got access to 10mg lexapro. Your help will be appreciated.

Newbie Group: Newbie Posts: 7 Joined: 3-May 08 Member No.: 24,952	You might not like the answer. Yes you will have some withdrawl symptoms. Without weaning you will probably have some light-headedness, nasuea, headaches etc. Effexor is one of the hardest medications to come off of. I had a terrible time even with weaning. Hope it goes well. And I know how what it is like to not have insurance and look for similar medications from family. I DO NOT ADVISE THAT TO ANYONE. However, I know what it is like to have to change meds drastically. J
