And sometimes out loud!   I hear a tune and it sticks with me for hours; days sometimes. Until I hear something else.  Usually it's a piece of music I don't even like  yuck.gif

But it goes round and round .........  :music: whistling.gif until I find myself humming softly ......   ermm.gif

"I hear singing and there's no one there, I hear music but the air is clear " ........

OH Lizzy...we had this convo at the old DF.

There is ALWAYS music in my head. No matter waht. Even in my dreams, there is music in the background. And actually, I kinda like it. Except when I get Sesame Street, Barney, or any silly radio commercial.

And I sing a lot too Lizzy! Even if other peopel are around, I don't even realize it. I sing around the house, in the car, while I amon the computer, at work, while walking if no one is around. LOL.

Lizzy...do you play any muscial instruments? Maybe we are just musicians at heart. I played piano for a while, and now I am learning the guitar.

I sing out loud in the car  wwww.gif

I learned the piano, recorder, clarinet and guitar in school; I also sang in the choir.  So at least then my humming was sensible!

It just comes from no-where, I'm not even thinking about  :music: when I find myself  whistling.gif

"Follow me, where I go, up and down, all around " [John Denver] this morning!

Yeah I really sing in the car. That is when I let it all out. For some reason, in the car, my voice sounds really good. LOL

Do you ever get annoying songs stuck in your head? Like commercials or songs you can't stand?

song in my head now "When push come to pull comes to step around this self destructive dance...."   It's an A Perfect Circle song. Luckily a song I like. A lotof times I get annoying songs in my head

I relate to songs in my life and I get little montage moments  laugh.gif in my head, it started after I was introduced to the art of making music videos from like tv shows and films to music, it's a crazed fan thing! I hear them on the radio and I'm like shocked.gif - MY SONG! And I get little me's in my head doing stuff.

OOoo and its great if you're feeling crap and you hear either your favourite song or an appropriate one (All by myself- think bridget jones ermm.gif , or I will survive and of course, She Hates me by Puddle of mud buttrock.gif- or in my case He Hates me- I love adding the rude words back in for 'em) censored.gif

OMg...I play drums on my steering wheel    I get totally into it. I used to worry that other people could see me......but I really like to sing, so to hell with them if they can't laugh about it.  :D

YES!! Whatever mood I am in, the music follows. LMAO about your ring. I do that with my rings as well. But on my desk at work. They each make a unique sound and I can play out tunes. LOL. Probably drives my office mate up the wall!

lol - I think the song in your head is a trademark of OCD.  I've never met a person with OCD who didn't have it.

It's the only part of OCD that I can really tolerate - sometimes I even like it.
"Rock ya body mic check one two - cuz it ain't a party 'til my crew run through"  :music:
At other times it's annoying as hell - like when you get some stupid song stuck in your head or you're trying to concentrate.

''Looking for some hot stuff baby this evening...''  :whistling:
How did this one ended up in my head? Lol!

I sing in the car too. And sometimes I dance  :lookaround: (mostly when I'm not the driver)...

I was at a butterfly farm with hubby yesterday and my brain was so engrossed I didn't have any songs inside  :p  I managed to walk round several times watching the caterpillars and butterflys even though the place was busy and humid.  9/10!

Just waiting for the next song to make itself heard ........
