Dear Members,
We did it! the Senate passed the Medicare bill (H.R. 6331)
that would repeal the 50% co-pay for outpatient mental health services
with a veto-proof margin (69-30). Thanks for all your hard work to
improve Medicare coverage for mental health consumers! We can't stop now though. We
must push this bill over the finish line by urging the White House not
to follow through on its threatened veto and by thanking the Republican
Senators who bucked their party leadership to vote for the bill.
